The 2009 IHA Summer Leadership Forum has an incredible lineup of sessions from beginning to end. Highly regarded health care consultant Maureen Swan will launch the forum by providing a CEO dashboard assessment of the top trends.

She’ll be followed by the American Hospital Association’s Rick Pollack with an up-to-the-minute policy and legislative report. Economist Dave Swenson will then discuss Iowa’s economy – successes and failings as well as how government funding could assist in the recovery. The first day will close with a panel of IHA members discussing the future of health care financing. Hospital financing will be covered the next morning by David Grossklaus, a bond attorney with Dorsey & Whitney.

The 2009 forum will close with Tom Atchison, who is always an engaging and thoughtful strategist, providing insights on maximizing return on capital.

This year’s forum is scheduled for June 10-11 at the Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.
